Dragonfly helicopters need something to keep the fuselage from turning much, so the propeller can work. Most people will be fine using a quarter of a sheet of regular printer paper or (recycled) foam plate or takeout food container. But for unique situations, as discussed in this video we offer recycled wings cut from recycled packaging foam.
Unlike paper wings, which are not rigid enough to be long and thin (unless you use very thick paper; but that's too heavy), foam wings combine light weight and enough rigidity for long wings that resemble a dragonfly. BUT these wings rip easily. These are lighter than even wings from foam plate foam, but they tear more easily. Preemptively putting a long piece of tape on each side makes it much stronger; and it's easy to repair if it does rip. Nevertheless, these might not be the best choice for very young kids.
